Screaming Yellow & Luminous Lavender

Henrik Vibskov selection from Museum Jorns collection

9 September 2012 - 3 February 2013

Museum Jorn has invited the innovative fashion designer Henrik Vibskov to install the museum's collections.

With spectacular set designs and avant-garde installations supplying Henrik Vibskov repeatedly evocative total experiences, which takes place in the borderland between art, design and music - most recently at Charlottenborg with fashion show "Transparent Tongue" during fashion week. With his shows creates Henrik Vibskov mesmerizing, surreal fantasy worlds, with their very own cinematic mood and logic - a similar universe can now be seen at Museum Jorn.

Under the title Screaming Yellow & Luminous Lavender stages Vibskov an alternative, visually oriented presentation of works from the Museum Jorn's collection. Henrik Vibskov made a personal choice among the 18,000 works that are found in the Museum Jorn's collection. The majority of the works are usually at the museum stores and are not available to the public. Based on the garish yellow and bright lavender creates Vibskov a visual universe around the museum's paintings, sculptures and graphic works.
